Hi everybody,

If you have some spare minutes today, I would strongly recommend you to stop by one of the most successful threads we currently have in our new born Forex Forum.

The thread belongs to Trading Strategies and Methods Forum and is named: This is the Holy Grail!!!

We all know that there is no Holy Grail when trading - at least Forex :) - but I found a very nice idea that a thread was created to talk about how people finally became profitable in Forex trading.

It was created by Johnypips on February 17th and currently has 1,443 views and 14 posts

If you want to participate or to give it a look, just go to:

Hi everybody,

I’ve got excellent news indeed!

Rob Booker has just confirmed that he will be our guest speaker for the March 2007 Monthly Webinar that will take place at the end of March. Dates still to be confirmed.

I consider Rob the best Forex industry educator I’ve ever met, excluding of course my people as Toni, Ed or John J

Rob combines a tremendous knowledge of the field with an incredible sense of humor and a very sarcastic way to see the world. The result of such cocktail is somebody you could listen for hours.

I’m really very happy that he has decided to join us in such as an important event as our education Monthly Webinar is, and I just hope this will be the beginning of a closer relationship with Rob.

Hi everybody,

Due the tremendous success of Toni Juste’s Weblog we are now including his blog into our Premium Section, so members will have the opportunity to follow the market with Toni without having to leave Premium and they won’t have to refresh the page to look for updates as they had to do when visiting Toni’s blog.
Premium was built using Ajax technology so the refresh is automatically done, so reader only notices that a new item appears on his page.

The move of Toni’s blog to Premium will be during the next few hours and will replace the FX Experts Section.

We consider that Toni’s blog will be a great addition to increase the value of our Premium Service as it helps to give traders all necessary tools to succeed in the market in one single page.

Hi Everybody

On one of my first posts in this blog I was looking for your opinion about a very concerning comment I found at Forexfactory.com forum, where a member was complaining that he had the vibe that most of the articles published at FXstreet.com were trying to sell him something.

This comment raised my concern and I wanted to hear what you all had to say about it. I got very good feed-back indeed but, above all, I recently got a very interesting comment I would like to share with you all. The comment was as it follows:

NO! DO NOT "RAISE THE STANDARD" AS YOU CALL IT. DO NOT REMOVE CONTENT!

I love fxstreet just the way it is, and one of the reasons i love it, its cause it has so much articles and different opinions and so many stuff on it. I don’t have to surf through 10 or 20 different sites to get the info, i just go to fxstreet.

Sorry for the all caps but i think you got the message wrong, you misunderstood what that poster meant. I think he meant to say that the people that post on fxstreet want to sell you something, no more no less, he didn’t question the quality of the site itself.

I don’t believe that’s true for the most part, but even if some of the posters do that so what? The bottom line is does their posting on fxstreet contribute to the site or not, not if they’re trying to sell something. Even the big banks that have their reports here get something out of it, bigger reputation, customers etc…

Why should that worry us? If they add value to the site who cares?

Again, I have no idea where did you get the idea that he meant to say that the quality of the site is bad.

Again of the main reasons I love fxstreet is cause of the huge info and all the reports and analysis from different sources I can read here. Do not cut any of it, you would just be shooting yourself in the foot.

I would love to hear what you have to say about it. Do you agree with concerned visitor?

Hi Everybody,

Due the success of yesterday’s free-day to attend Premium’s Webinar sessions, we have decided that the 15th of every month will be Premium’s Webinar Free-Access Day, unless the 15th falls on a weekend in which case, the free-day will be moved to Friday.

With this action, I hope FXstreet’s users will have a better understanding of what Premium offers to active FX traders to help them to improve their trading skills and to take better trading decisions.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to solve some confusion about Premium’s cost as many people have asked if we still had a free Premium access option.
Premium is a paid service that costs 45 euros per month or 450 euros per year for private traders and 900 euros per year for corporate traders

http://premium.fxstreet.com/

Nevertheless, Premium is a service aimed for active traders and we want it to be completely free for those who are active in the market. Therefore, if you open a mini or standard Forex account with one of the brokers who participates in Premium and proceed to generate rebates higher than the monthly or yearly fee, FXstreet.com will refund your fee the month, in turn, keeping Premium free.

Brokers participating in FXstreet.com Premium Service:
FXCM
IFX Markets
GFS Forex
FX Solutions
MG Financial
Man Financial UK*
Forex.com
ACM
(* Only for standard accounts)

I hope with this explanation things will be a little bit more clear now

Have a great weekend

Hi Everybody,

For those of you wondering how FXstreet was created and who is behind it, I’m going to explain you all our short history.

Back in 1997 I just got back to Barcelona from one of the most beautiful cities on earth, San Francisco. I spent there a year with my wife as I wanted to learn English and to know the place I was named after.

Yes, Francesc means Francisco in my mother language Catalan. I was born near San Francisco 39 years ago – I’m almost 40! - in Palo Alto. My father was taking his Phd at Stanford University and my brother and I were born there. Ten months after I was born we got back to Barcelona, where I lived  till 1996 , before going to San Francisco.

Well… where was I? ah yes, I got back in 1997 and I was hired as web developer of a Forex Advisory firm located in Barcelona that had heard about the power of the Internet and wanted to use it as a tool to brand the company and get leads. S,o this is what I did till mid 1999, when the company shut down due to legal problems with local authorities.

I was studying then at IESE Business School, so I didn’t want to apply for a new job as I needed time to study, so I decided to convert the previous Forex corporate site into a Forex portal, and to establish English as the main language of the site.

I inspired myself  on the great site The Street to get the name: FXstreet.com… Original right? :)

I got the support of my wife Miriam – she was the web designer – and a friend of mine, Sergi Fernández – the IT guy. Now they are the two other company owners along myself.

As we could not live from FXstreet.com back then, we all three had our own jobs – mine was a part time job at IESE’s business school – so after hours we were putting all our energy in to make FXstreet.com grow.

In February 2001 we created the company – FOREXSTREET SL – and two years later we hired our first staff member, Ms. Sandra Garcia. She was the luckiest employee on earth as she had three bosses and no team mates… just paradise J

Back then we all worked from home.

In October 2003 we moved to an office and were already 6 guys – 3 bosses and 3 employees – and in June 2006 we had to move to a bigger place, downtown Barcelona as we were about 20 already.

That’s our little history…

Hi Everybody,

As you may probably already know, our Managed Account Program was opened to investors on February 1st 2007 .

The program was launched at the end of October 2006 with an initial investment of $100,000 proprietary capital using GFT as a trading partner.

The Head of Trading for this project is Tony Juste (FX Advisor with FXstreet.com).

So far, performance has been quite good with an accumulated return of 6.34% so we are in line of our monthly percentage profitability target of 1.5%.

The Managed Accounts Program (MAP) project is intended for all investors wishing to have part (or the full) of their investment portfolio managed by a third party, with no capital restrictions. There are three words that express what the MAP aims to achieve: Commitment, Integrity, and Resolution.

Commitment: The MAP project aims to yield an average of 1.5% monthly net income to all investors participating in it using a very little part of their capital, i.e., low leverage.

Integrity: Striving to provide the best investment (in alternative products) service is not only providing fireworks from time to time, but consistently delivering transparency and fairness to all clients. That is why the MAP only perceives profits as those generated to the client, ensuring a win/win relationship, where no hidden fees are charged.

Resolution: Trading opportunities may or may not appear. It is realized that it is as important to be in the market as it is to stay out of it. Not being in a rush to trade is a factor that may differentiate one trader from another and certainly caring about such trades are important.
