Hi everybody

I just got an excellent feed-back from my friend Ron Schelling. Ron was a speaker of ITC 2007 and owns  2hedge.com, a company with high expertise in arbitrage and  hedging.

I hope Ron don´t mind I´m publishing here his comments as I found them very useful in order to take a decision of the right location of our 2008 ITC’s.

Thanks Ron!

Francesc

Hello Francesc,

I just saw your question about the next ITC.

There are enough FX shows in the USA.
Las Vegas sounds not for the profesional people, just a big money show.
In case you consider the USA my advice is New York.
I was on several such shows/seminars and still the best was in NY.
Only the cold weather was a negative as the major show is in February.

To reach the Americans think about Toronto or even Miami.
Vegas are mainly visited by private traders.
The websites and services of US companies are much different then FXStreet
as they look to close to there own country.
FXStreet shows a more global view.

London is I think the best choice.
You see the more profesional people there, but’s expensive too.
People travel half the world to be in the major financial center.

My major choice actually is Barcelona again !
It’s more relexed, more friendly and things goes in an easy way.
FXStreet means also Spain, good weather a relexed and interesting seminar.

Best regards,
Ron

Hi everybody,

As you all know FXstreet.com made new all-time highs last month. For 3rd month in a row FXstreet.com touched new highs in October:

October 2007
1,316,167 Visits
377,545 Absolute Unique Visitors
3,951,017 Pageviews
3.00 Average Pageviews
00:04:11 Time on Site

If we take data from November 1st to November 26th, we should close November with numbers very close to October highs but not beating them.

I´m expecting to close November with the following numbers:

November 2007
1,287,000 Visits
371,000 Absolute Unique Visitors
3,860,000 Pageviews
3.00 Average Pageviews
00:04:11 Time on Site

It is funny because average page views and time on site are exactly the same than the previous month.

Help me to be wrong… I want to be wrong and beat October’s numbers!!!!

:)

All the best

Francesc

Hi everybody

It is time for me to take a decision about where we should run the 2nd edition of FXstreet’s ITC.

The International Traders Conference 2007 was a success to we know for sure that there will be an ITC 2008.

It seems that Barcelona is going to hold again ITC next year either in October as this year or in May. What we must decide is if we should go for a second ITC 2008 this next year or not.

I wanted that second location to be New York, but my friend Merlin Jeffries from Forex Factory recommended me to go for Vegas in case of bringing ITC 2008 to the US.

The other location being considered is London.

Either London or the US edition should also have to come along a 2 days B2B (business to business) FX event prior the ITC. The idea is to gather all FX industry’s participants under one roof for a couple of days and discuss about the market, to announce new products or service and make business meeting with software developers, strategist, money managers, fund managers….

My question is: London or US?

In case of US, where NY or Vegas?

I´ll appreciate your feed back

Hi everybody,

I´m very happy to let you all know that InterbankFX is joining FOREXSTREET S.L - company owner of FXstreet.com - in its Managed Account Program (MAP).

InterbankFX is joining this way GFT as partner FDM of our MAP program.

InterbankFX is investing $350,000 now and will add other $350,000 in 3/6 months period if performance meets InterbankFX’s expectations. Furthermore InterbankFX is going to promote the MAP program among their own clients and partners.

InterbankFX is investing now $250,000 into the existing MAP 8304 CYCLE FX UNLEVERAGED (Program A) and $100,000 into MAP G8 FX VALUE GROWTH LEVERAGED (Program B), the new  5:1 leverage program FOREXSTREET S.L is now offering to the investing community.

"InterbankFX is pleased to partner with FOREXSTREET SL in their new MAP money manager trading program. Based on the results that have been provided to Interbank FX by FOREXSTREET SL, the MAP program will provide an excellent service for the retail investor. One of InterbankFX’s goals is to provide the tools for our customers to be successful" just told me a few minutes ago in an e-mail conversation Todd B. Crosland, Chairman and President of InterbankFX.

I want to thank Todd and InterbankFX for supporting the FOREXSTREET´S MAP program. We consider MAP to be lucky to have two such good companies as GFT and InterbankFX as travel partners. GFT is a solid firm, probably one of the best exsiting FDM’s, while InterbankFX represents a fast growing company and fresh air for the retail FX industry.

I just hope this is the beginning of something great together.
