Former Nomura Bank & Credit Suisse Carol Harmer Daily Analysis now @ FXstreet

Posted on March 20, 2009 at 13:57 in About FXstreet.com by Francesc

Hi everyone

I’m terrible proud to welcome Charmer Charts.com and its founder Carol Harmer to FXstreet.com.

With a career spanning almost 30 years, Carol Harmer is undoubtedly one of the most respected and established technical analysts in the UK and is a founding member of the STA (The Society of Technical Analysts).

Carol’s career started in 1981 on the futures trading floor for LIFFE. In 1983 Carol began work as Senior Technical Analyst for Midland Bank (which was taken over by HSBC in 1992).
In 1986 Carol was again head hunted for the role of Manager of Technical Analysis for Nomura Bank.
In 1991-1996 Carol was hired as Head of Technical Trading at Credit Suisse. She also appeared weekly on Bloomberg, CNBC and Reuters financial TV to provide her opinion on financial markets.
And finally in 1996 Carol formed a company to train independent traders in technical analysis and launched ‘Charmer Charts’ to provide daily analysis reports for the established local traders on the LIFFE floor.

Charmer Charts is going to be publishing two great reports on daily basis:

1. Forex Chartist Technical Analysis

2. Market and News Summary

Both reports are produced at 7:30AM London time and published at FXstreet.com in less than twenty minutes.

I consider both reports as a must read as they give you a very clear picture of the situation on both sides, macroeconomic and technical analysis.

Excellent reads indeed!.

I want to thak Carol for her trust on FXstreet.com and I just wish her and Charmer Charts the best.

Francesc
