Open Letter to FX Pulp top executive… Is there any link between the firm and Crown Forex S.A?

Posted on August 3, 2009 at 19:19 in Forex, Winds of change in Switzerland by Francesc

This e-mail has been sent today to the marketing representative that deals advertising on FXstreet.com on behalf FX Pulp.

I hope to publish soon their response

Francesc

Open Letter to FX Pulp top executive

Dear Ispeer

Your name has been given to me by Daniela Menascé from our Online Advertising Support team.

Please, resend this e-mail to your firm’s top executive.

There are a lot of rumours going around that former Crown Forex S.A management is now behind the scenes at FX Pulp.

As you may already know, Crown Forex S.A is currently in a bankruptcy process in Switzerland and many traders are being trapped there.

At this time, we do not allow any advertising at FXstreet.com from any company related somehow to Crown Forex S.A management. This will apply till we get more information from the Swiss FINMA about the reasons of Crown Forex S.A liquidation.

As these increasing rumours are not good for FX Pulp nor for FXstreet.com, I would like to get an official statement from your top executive in order to clarify things out.

Thanks in advance

Francesc

note: this e-mail and your response to it are going to be published at my personal blog at http://blogs.fxstreet.com/francesc/ as I consider very important to keep this conversation wide open to everyone.

fxpulp is in existance before the start of investigations of crown forex.if supposedly fxpulp is owned by crown authorities and if it is really a crime to own two forex firms at the same time then question mark is on the functioning of finma.so another open letter needs to be put for finma and finma investigators.and next open letter needs to be put for swiss federal court.
why finma let cfsa working and admitting new deposits uptill 19th may?
why swiss federal court kept granting appeals to crown forex?
why finma’s bankruptcy decision was suspended by swiss fedral court?
why yasmin sabeti(finma person) tells us that case is in court and decision is expected in september.
if swiss federal court was a meaningless thing why we clients are put under waiting torture of nine months?
and lastly question mark is on mr.Francesc…if there was withdrawl issue in september 2008 before the start of investigations and as two people mr.Goldy and mr.Francesc were knowing about the issue……why issue was not brought to limelight? i personally took my last withdrawl in october 2008,if f i had been knowing i could have withdrawn all my funds.
anyways all these open letters need to be addressed.

    Hi All

Why all of sudden there is all dead silence about the Crown Forex, all the old speakers in this blog looks like keeping quite or may be finding it no uselfull to bith about the lost money.

    ???????????

  8. on 20 Aug 2009 at 5:43 am8Tiger

Is there any latest news available.

  9. on 20 Aug 2009 at 1:14 pm9Francesc Riverola

From me,… no news at all :(

    Faisal

When a trader comes to me to help him/her in a dispute with its brokerage firm, the first thing they expect from me is discretion. They do not want anything to be made public as they are afraid to be trapped or to put in danger their case.

You can agree with it or not, but I think it is understandable.

From my position, I was not able to foresee back then that there was a serious problem at Crown Forex and that an investigation from FINMA was on its way. If I would have foreseen it, no doubt I would have made it public.

I must recognize that the explosion of the case got me with pants down if you allow me the expression

    Hi Francesc

Do you think its OK to trade with Fx Pulp. Have you received or know of any problems with them or their plateform or withdrawals.

I am not gonna hold you for that, just want to know their status.

Thanx as always for your kind efforts.

    Hi Tiger

I do not have any reason to ban FX Pulp from advertising on our site. For me they are a broker as reliable as any other as long as I do not have anything that proves otherwise.

BUT, they are regulated in Cyprus and they are authorized to operate all over the EU under new MyFID directive. At this time, we at FXstreet.com consider that many of the regulators in Europe - Cyprus, Spain, Poland,… - are not ready to really understand Forex so they are not ready to supervise with guarantees a Forex Broker, so we DO NOT accept those brokers in our list of leading brokers and FDM’s, as you can check on the left hand side of our home page.

We only accept there firms regulated in USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Nordic Countries and Switzerland. Soon we will include Germany as well.

We consider these countries have a regulator that understands well Forex and they supervise with some guarantees the market due their experience in the field, but - always there is a but… - think that most of the worst cases of bankrupcy and dishonesty moves have been taken place in the USA, where the NFA rules.

So do not take our vision for granted. That’s our position based in our vision of the market, but we could be perfectly wrong and EU passport companies should be on our list of top firms too.

Before making any move to select a broker, please give a look to our brokers section. You’ll find good tips there to find the appropiated broker for your needs:

    Hi Francesc,
I noticed in your broker list doesn’t include EMPFX. EMPFX is a Switzerland company and it also has an office in USA. It charges 1 pip on EURUSD and 2 pips on GBPUSD. It has a review score of 4 stars. Do you know much about this broker? After Crown Forex and Alma, it makes me too nervous and trust any brokers. Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Good trading….

  15. on 31 Aug 2009 at 10:43 am15Francesc Riverola

    Dear Wisdom

If you want to go with a Swiss Forex Brokerage Firm, my suggestion is for you to wait that FINMA will start giving banking license to all those that have applied. Wait till then just in case there could be a negative surprise.

About EMPFX, I never heard of them, but this does not mean that they are not an honest firm, just that I do not know them.

Ask them if they are going to apply for banking license and if they do, wait till they get it. Otherwise, stay away.

Hmmm… I wonder how FX Pulp knows so much about what they have in common with Crown, assuming there is truly no connection.

I am beginning to think we may have had the right idea, but perhaps the wrong firm?

    Have a look at this:
