Mark Whistler Replaces Cornelius Luca As Speaker At October’s International Traders Conference

Posted on September 13, 2010 at 9:26 in About FXstreet.com, International Traders Conference by Francesc

Hi everyone

We have to announce you some changes in the Speakers Panel of our International Traders Conference, the ITC for this year.

Cornelius Luca had to cancel his participation due to unexpected professional changes and commitments. He will not be able to come to Barcelona for our conference in October, and we would like to apologize for the inconvenience it may cause to all participants.

The good news is that we already found a substitute. Mark Whistler, full-time trader, analyst and author of nine books, will be our guest. Mark is a long-time collaborator of FXstreet.com discussing currency trading and global markets through webinars and reports, among other things.
Mark has done many live speaking engagements and conferences over the years but the ITC will be the first since he pulled back from doing media anything about 14 months ago.

That’s an honor for us and we’re convinced he will bring great insights and lead very interesting live trading sessions.

The topic of his Keynote speeches is “Probability and Volatility Clarified for Trending and Mean Reversion Trading“:

Summary:
As market veterans know, traditional technical indicators fail traders in real time…  To succeed as an independent trader, one must break apart from virtually all technicals, volatility, probability, and even statistical theory to consistently navigate markets profitably on a daily basis.  Traders will walk away from this special hour astonished with empirical proof detailing how indicator failure, flaws in statistical theory, and the common understanding of distributions literally sets traders up for failure.

An insightful primer to Whistler’s Live Seminars during ITC 2010, traders will also see how reconstructing our understanding of mainstream statistics, indicators, and probability can quickly and effectively clarify the “enigmatic volatility” within Forex and many other markets.  Cultivated through nearly a decade and a half of real… hard won… in the trenches trading, the volatility principals and institutional risk management strategies provided during ITC 2010 cannot be found - in entirety - anywhere else.

We’re looking forward to meeting Mark in Barcelona!

Let me remind you that you can still register for our ITC Barcelona ‘10, an event that will also welcome as guest speakers to Boris Schlossberg, Rob Booker, Todd Gordon, Chris Capre, Triffany Hammond and Mike Baghdady!

See you soon in Barcelona!
