FXstreet websites reached 7,033,000 page views once again in October vs. 6,604,000 in September, slowly and progressively approaching to March’s all-time highs of 7,200,000.

Last month I was speculating here that if October turned to be as shaky as It was the previous year, new highs could be touched. Well, fortunately for the global financial stability and unfortunately for our traffic numbers, October was nothing special so the sites overall went up driven by the good performance of the English site and mobile.

Unique visitors and visits grew to 696,000 and 2,420,000 vs. 634,000 and 2,253,000 the previous month.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site data for October with the same month the previous year, we can observe that the site fell a 7% above in unique visitors, while grew a 4% in visits and 17% in page views.

FXstreet websites picked up in September 2009 after a steady performance during the 2 previous months.

Overall, sites reached 6,604,000 page views in September vs. 6,260,000 in August and 6,300,000 in July and seems it could be approaching to March’s all-time highs of 7,200,000 if October turns to be as shaky as last year was.

Unique visitors and visits jumped to 634,000 and 2,253,000 vs. 593,000 and 2,110,000 the previous month.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site data for September with the same month the previous year, we can observe that the site is 11% above in unique visitors, 23% in visits and 29% in page views.

The yearly percentage growth in unique visitors in September fell from levels around thirty-something percent mainly due to the fact that financial turmoil heated up in September 2008 bringing a lot of new users to FXstreet.com. As it got worse in October 2008, I expect that unique visitors yearly growth in October could fall even more, but I remain optimistic that October could bring us to new all-time highs.

In September we must highlight once again the great performance of the Mobile sites and the Spanish Forex Forum Forex.es, both touching new all-time highs. We also must stress the raise of the two main sites FXstreet.com and FXstreet.es vs. previous months.

After publishing July’s figures quite late here you have a quiete early publishing of August figures

FXstreet websites performance in August 2009 was like July’s, very much in line with the traffic numbers of the previous months as the summer break was already here in Europe.

Overall, sites reached 6,260,000 page views in August vs. 6,300,000 in July, 6,660,000 in June and 6,320,000 in May, and still far from March all-time high of 7,200,000.

Unique visitors and visits in July remained at 593,000 and 211,000, almost the same figures reached the previous month when it touched 597,000 and 2,122,000.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site August’s data with the same month the previous year, we can observe that the site keeps a healthy raise of 37% in unique visitors, 39% in visits and 38% in page views.

In August, we must highlight the good performance of the Mobile sites and the Spanish Forex Forum Forex.es, both touching new all-time highs.

September is going to be a critical month for the numbers of the rest of the year. Last year, financial turmoil peaked up in September sky rocking our traffic numbers. We will see what September brings along this year.

First of all, apologies for the delay in publishing July’s figures. You know that we in Europe enjoy long long vacations in Summer and I was not back to the office till this morning. So here you have them:

FXstreet websites performance in July 2009 was very much in line with the traffic numbers of the previous months as the summer break kept approaching.

Overall, sites reached 6,300,000 page views in July vs. 6,660,000 in June and 6,320,000 in May, and still far from March all-time high of 7,200,000.

Unique visitors and visits in July remained at 597,000 and 2,122,000 vs. 626,000 and 2,255,000 the previous month.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site July’s data with the same month the previous year, we can observe that the site keeps a healthy raise of 32% in unique visitors, 41% in visits and 41% in page views.

FXstreet websites performance in June 2009 was very much in line than in April. Overall, sites reached 6,600,000 page views in June vs. 6,300,000 in April and still far from March all-time high of 7,200,000.

Unique visitors and visits grew in June remained at 626,000 and 2,255,000 vs. 621,000 and 2,153,000 the previous month.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site June data with the same month the previous year, we can observe a healthy raise of 37% in unique visitors, 49% in visits and 46% in page views.

FXstreet websites performance in May 2009 was better than in April but still far from March all-time highs.

Overall, FXstreet’s sites fell to 6,320,606 page views in April, slightly below 6,413,936 page views, but far from March all-time high of 7,216,210 page views.

Unique visitors and visits grew in April to touch 621,056 and 2,153,577, above of 599,505 and 2,136,781 reached the previous month.

The main reason of April’s fall in page views is due the impact of changing the stats traffic counter for our mobile sites. We were not using Google Analytics for those sites as it underestimates real number as it only counts devices that support java script. The problem was that the software that tracked logs was overestimating data. The bigger the traffic was the most overestimated it, so we have decided to go back to Analytics. Mobile page views have fallen then from 360,000 in April to 160,000.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site May data with the same month the previous year, we can observe a raise of 25% in unique visitors, 38% in visits and 38% in page views. Not bad numbers at all.

FXstreet websites performance in April 2009 was quite good as, even though far from March all-time highs, they reminded quite above previous highs reached in February this year.

Overall, FXstreet’s sites fell to 6,413,936 page views, far from March all-time high of 7,216,210 page views, but still above February’s 6,046,785.

The downward move was general in all sites and was more important in unique visitors and visits than in page views. As far as I know, the fall from March highs happened too in other important sites of the industry.

If we compare FXstreet.com English site April data with the same month the previous year, we can observe a raise of 16% in unique visitors, 29% in visits and 26% in page views.

Hi everyone,

FXstreet web sites performance in March 2009 was no doubt more than excellent if we do not take in consideration the failure to consolidate numbers of the Japanese site after a quick raise in February.

Overall, FXstreet’s sites jumped to a new all-time high of 7,216,210 page views, a 19% rise from previous high of 6.046.785 touched in February. The move was mostly lead by FXstreet.com English and Spanish sites - the two biggest sites - and as in February by FXstreet’s Mobile Sites - English, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese .

FXstreet’s main web site - FXstreet.com - touched new all-time highs in page views and visitors, while in unique visitors it touched the second best level ever after October 2008 high. The site reached in March 1.958.000 visits, 579.000 unique visitors and 5.663.000 page views.

Outstanding numbers indeed.

If we compare FXstreet.com English March data with the same month the previous year, we can observe a healthy raise of 34% in unique visitors, 45% in visits and 37% in page views.

If we apply data from March 1st to 23rd for the rest of the month, we should expect a great March in terms of traffic at FXstreet.com.

If we consider that unique visitors will keep coming along at same rates through the rest of the month, we should close the month with a new all-time high of around 615,000 unique visitors, a very healthy 42% rise from same month the previous year and a 4% from previous high of 591,000 unique visitors reached last October 2008.

Let’s see if we are able to meet such numbers

FXstreet web sites jumped in February 2009 to a new all-time high of 6.046.785 page views, move lead by the very good performance of FXstreet’s Mobile Sites - English, Spanish and Japanese - and the recovery of FXstreet China after January’s new year’s week.

FXstreet’s main web site - FXstreet.com - remained steady versus previous month, experiencing a small growth in visits, unique visitors and page views.

If we compare FXstreet.com’s February data with same month the previous year, we can observe a spectacular raise of 48% in unique visitors, 37% in visits and 22% in page views.

Those are not bad numbers at all….
