The ITC’s final panel discussion is going on right now with the topic of the international crisis and financial markets. Eight currency traders experts are sharing with us their thoughts about the actual economic situation and their forecasts for USD, Oil, Gold, Stocks and Bonds in the next months.

Ashraf Laidi has affirmed that worst of financial crisis is behind us, at this moment, but it is too early to say that it has finished. According to Laidi: “First half of 2010 will be the key moment”. Rob Booker said that world economy is still weak but Kim Kramer Larsson believed that the recovery will start in 2010.

Right now, their are discussing the Dean Baker’s proposal about financial taxes. Rob Booker and Markus Heitkoetter are complaining about the taxes increase trend in crisis times; on the other hand, Valeria Bednarik just explained some benefits about tax increases.

We continued the intense live trading sessions in the morning of the 3rd day of the conference. During these 3 trading sessions with the experts we’ve had the opportunity to put in practice all the theory acquired during the speeches and also exchange opinions with other traders and with the experts themselves. This way we have seen different systems and styles… and we will get back home with a mix of everything, after picking the tips and strategies we have preferred.
We’re - hopefully - all better traders today!!

Andrei Pehar and Ashraf Laidi

Right now, in the panel discusssion moderated by Alberto Muñoz, the 7 guest speakers are analizing the keys of the crisis that affects the markets. Just discussed if the crisis is already behing us or no… quite lively and even funny so far…

We’ll keep you posted.

3 years of ITC and still what I enjoy the most is having the opportunity to share 3 days with our partners in a different space from the office.
You know, it is when you can really interact with the staff at Fxstreet.com and when you have time to share wonderful moments, have nice conversation… Being histerical sometimes, but always with a smile on your face.

The really special thing of this conference is to meet the people that you have been contributing for years with. Rob Booker is always there, with a funny thing to say and ready for joking around. This year I am specially excited since I could finally meet some of our veteran collaborators: Markus Heitkoetter, who started back on 2005 or 2006 with the old Q&A sessions, the same as Valeria Bednarik. James Chen who is also a blogger and amazing contributor, Andrei Pehar who is one of the guys that are always there, ready to collaborate and Kim Kramer, who was one of the traders behind the popular Today’s Technical Trading Points and now are producing every day the Today’s Trading Signals (our most viewed report).

Valeria Bednarik James Chen

Rob Booker Markus Heitkoetter

Kim Cramer Larsson Andrei Pehar

All of them here, in Barcelona, living a magic moment, having all these people together with attendees from all over the world exchanging knowledge, knowing each other, and why not, being friends.

The morning slipped out with the great speeches of other two very well known names of the Fxstreet.com community: Andrei Pehar and James Chen. Andrei explained the better thechnical indicators for surviving the actual crisis conditions.

Andrei Pehar

James, speaking at this very moment, is commenting the better options to make a real picture about the Forex Market using the confluence, following trends and keeping in focus the volatility.

James Chen

James is a pure technical trader, thus, his tips and scoops are valuable to set strategies with multiple technical confirmations and to evaluate the risk management. On the other hand, Andrei has used his Fibonacci deep knowledge to comment his long term tests about trend evolutions.

Hi everyone,

This year, we have limited the floor of the International Traders Conference (ITC 2009) to a maximum of 60 traders.

The reason behind that decision is that we want to make sure that the event will be an excellent experience for our attendees so traders will get the most from key speeches and live trading sessions. Also, we think that a small floor will help to make a more direct relationship between speakers and attendees and it will be easier to get to know to each other.

Seats are going to be limited this year so don’t wait too much to book your seat.
