Greetings Everyone!
Now that our Presidential Election is over here in the States, with we should see some paradigm shifts and some “new” ideas with the continuing direction of finding economic solutions.
Or will we???
Let’s get one thing clear…
I am largely an apolitical person. I am concerned about the relationship of Politics and how it effects economic Policy and such, but in terms of the actual individual to hold Office, it really is irrelevant to my Trading work in the long-term.
If I had my way…I would elect Mr. “Price T. Action” for all of my needs…but of course, this will not happen.
( OK…you are supposed to laugh now at my remarkable wit…
Both candidates, in my view, were lacking in the timely and neccessary area of Economics. Even so, the citizens of this country were ready for a change.
They received it.
What really is making up the “Change” rhetoric, though?
In my view…it is the human element of “Subjective Emotion”.
Irregardless of the motives of a historical precedent, a desire to move away from the old “System”, the flash points of the Iraq issues and Health care…Emotion was the clear victor here.
It is what is is…and just like Price on our Charts…we will accept it and work with it.
So what is today’s “built-in” Lesson?
Keep an open mind, and do not Act…but REACT… to factors that are outside of your control.
Whatever “Side of the “Fence” you are on…don’t try to control everything.
Try to use your Arsenal of Knowledge a little more than your Subjective Emotion….in both Politics and Price Action.

Yes, Mr price T action very good LOL. Lets see how wall street and main street make out. Your view of the candidates are right on. Lets just hope the currency markets give us some good trades in the future and Obana doesn’t dig into our accounts with his idea of socialism and sharing the wealth. I look forward to your blogs.
Hi Joan!
Thank you for visiting and for your comment!
I feel we are fortunate trading these instruments, because Currencies are a bit more “shielded and isolated” from outside influences such as Politics.
We will always have opportunities to work with, and it indeed will be interesting to see how all of the macro-issues play out!
Sincerely,
