Expected moves before and after BOE and ECB rate decisions

Posted on June 4, 2009 at 6:24 in Market comment, Market forecast, Operators' intentions by Dr. S. Sivaraman

EURO and GBP made a quick rise and quick drop yesterday and changed the market sentiments.Either way stop hunt happened.

Today they are expected to swing near low and make nominal downward stop hunt below low in some pairs and then rise towards close of Japanese session.During European session quick rise is expected with volatile drop before BOE rate decison (11:00 GMT)  time and then quick rise during ECB rate decision 11:45 GMT).Then again a quick false dip and rise for ECB press conference time.During US session a compensatoary rise is expected in anticipation of tomorrow NFP data release.

I will give updates as and when required if quick moves happen in the market.

Regards

Dr.Sivaraman

first of all many thanks for your webinars!

Can we say that 1,72 is not realistic in GBP/USD?
    Maybe in 2-3 months?

    Regards,

    Dear Dr.,

Do you expect any bigger market move during the EMU Retail Sales time at 09.00 GMT?
Also, would you expect us to get to tomorrow’s NFP data release on the high or the low?

Thanks a lot for your hard work and commitment!

    Best Wishes,

    George
