new month beginning -expected volatile moves

Posted on November 2, 2009 at 6:11 in Market comment, Market forecast, Operators' intentions by Dr. S. Sivaraman

EURO and GBP along with USD/YEN made quick drop during start of the japanese session and firmed up after making extended downward stop hunts in GBP/USD,USD/YEN and GBP/YEN pairs.they are expected to swing near high and make brief upward stop hunt during close of japanese session.

During early European session they are expected to make upward stop hunt above high and then slide from mid European session quickly to reach near low.Us session start is expected to show again recovery moves in EURO and GBP .

Month beginning volatile moves may confuse traders - whether it is risk aversion or risk appetite move,or usd gaining or usd weakening move. Also the last 2 months of the year - the players are expected to make extreme extended stop hunt moves very frequently to earn as much from the market. So  take positions during quick move times  and close during other way quick move times as intra-day  big swing trades.

Dr.Sivaraman

I thought that is already there in doc’s comments , it specifies that this may happen in European session start

“During early European session they are expected to make upward stop hunt above high “

    Dear Santosh,

market is continously moving and changing even during a same session, I was wondering if new highs will be seen during the US session expected recovery move since as you know month end and beginning moves can be very volatile.

Do u think eur/usd during its down trend moves can test 1.4400 level in next days, as i am holding my some lots in 1.4400 area, or I should close them before at some proper time.

    Waiting for ur humble response.

  19. on 02 Nov 2009 at 10:32 am19np

EUR high 14788 today not broken after 45 mins now and approaching mid-Euro session so am I right in thinking it’s

  24. on 02 Nov 2009 at 12:47 pm24Jaf

    Dear Doc
when you refer season high do you mean this qtr or this year.

  25. on 02 Nov 2009 at 1:03 pm25np

    Dear Doc,

In EUR, high not broken now for 1.5 hrs but still is near high, so can this be taken as good time for short entry with
    30 pip s/l ?

  26. on 02 Nov 2009 at 2:53 pm26Francesco

    Dear Dr.Sivaraman,

can we expect a recovery for GBP during US session?

    Thank you!

  27. on 02 Nov 2009 at 3:41 pm27smith

Doc, these kind of moves are a bit more than just a recovery. USDJPY has not dropped until now. Can we still expect the drop in USDJPY or the rise has started?

  28. on 02 Nov 2009 at 6:03 pm28Orlando

Amazing calls for today, Doc. Thank you.
