Before FOMC rate decision time - expected market moves

Posted on November 4, 2009 at 6:51 in Market comment, Market forecast, Operators' intentions by Dr. S. Sivaraman

EURO and GBP are expected to swing near high during early Japanese session to slide towards close.

They are expected to firm up during early European session and then slide and drop till close of European session. Then after further dip during early US session they are expected to firmup to middle level during mid US session.

During FOMC data release time they are expected to make volatile moves and then slide.I will give the updates again with details of expected moves just before and after FOMC data release time.

Regards

Dr.Sivaraman

Hello Dr. From what i understand shorting gbp and eur until 11 nov is a good position trade, especially in this condition of upward stop hunts?
    Thank you

    Hello DR. Sivaraman,

GBPUSD cut the initial high, also highs of last two sessions, climbing up, closing in on psycho/1.6500. According to strategy, watch the new high, if not cut for 30 minutes, enter sell trade w/30 pips stop loss. Correct? Price just kissed 1.6500. Thank you.

    Respected Dr,

At this position when eur/usd is in upward direction, fomc is also coming, we should take positions with hedge, or u think that market will go down so short positions will be better

    ur opinion is appreciated

now, it seems that USDJPY has started the rise. Do we still expect a drop perhaps to 90 area?

  15. on 04 Nov 2009 at 10:07 am15Dr. S. Sivaraman

    Dear Greg Wilson
Please avoid making such comments about a currency pair that will only induce unnecessary fear and induce you to make distress trades.GBP has rised only 80 pips from Japanese session high.
    Regards
    Dr.Sivaraman
