The USD/CAD broke out on the downside of the channnel below, and it has already started to hit Winnipeg lines.  I am interested in seeing if the pair can actually get back up to the bottom of the channel that was broken for a Winnipeg (sell trade).  If it rises back up and touches the bottom of the channel, I am willing to sell the pair.  Stop loss if the pair closes back inside the channel.  Profit target would be the 100% Winnipeg line at the very bottom of the chart image (that’s a target equal to the width of the original channel).

Of course, I would also want to be ready to see the USD improve, and I’d be willing to reverse my trade and buy the pair if it closes back inside the channel and stops me out of the short trade.

The pair broke upwards — and it had a lot of strength behind it.  I don’t like to buy on breaks outside the top side of ascending channels; I find that in the past these have been lower probability trades.  I have also found that when the pair does correct back downwards, the old top of the channel is an excellent profit target.  We’ll be waiting for a sell trade to do just that.

The orient express is staying above our trendline.  And looking strong again.  And we’re sticking with it and want to stay in.

If the pair can close outside the bottom of the channel, then I’m selling.  If it hits the bottom and prints a reversal candle, I’m buying (it’s an ascending channel).

The GBP/JPY has broken and closed above the trendline that I drew - and I believe the pair is ready for a ride up.  A buy trade came on the close above the trendline; the trade stops out if the pair falls back and closes below the trendline.  The profit target is open for right now.

Another 4 hour channel.  I’m not doing anything with this just yet.  I’d like to see the pair fall back a bit for a buy trade, since it appears to be rising towards the top of the channel.

I drew a new channel on the 4hr.  I would love to see a close below the bottom of the channel, and use our Winnipeg lines as profit targets.

We drew a channel and a range on the pair a week ago…two weeks ago?  Three?

The pair never broke out above the red resistance level, and I am still happy to trade this on a breakout above that level.  Now we have an excellent profit target — the old bottom of the channel we drew a long time ago and in a galaxy far away.  I am thinking that it’s time for a reversal back upward.
