GBP/USD Towards 1,5800?

Posted on October 7, 2009 at 1:36 in Intraday Techs by César B. Leiceaga

Cable has made a false brake through yesterdays lows at 1,5875 and is now nearing 1,5900 resistance.

I’m expecting the pair to roll over and retest 1,5800 area over the coming days unless 1,5940 - 1,5950 (38,20% and 50,00% Fibonacci’s) are taken.

What do you think about GBPJPY? Confirming bottom at the 140.00 strong support or could we see new lows?

    Regards,

    DEAR CESAR

    AND FXWIZARD

I think GBP is in triangle correction(H4 chart)in start of final leg for target 1.60 and there we will have resumption of midterm downtrend to 1.5760 and below.about GBPJPY we have flat correction to 143.3 then downward to 138.8 and below.

    Dear Beadelta,

I like your trade setup, the one thing I would recomend when entering your trades is to divide your entries in various lots. Good luck!

    Best regards.

    Dear FXWIZARD,

Double bottom needs to be confirmed with a close above 145,00 handle. RSI studies on the daily chart suggest a rebound but the main trend persists with bearish momentum.

    Best Regards.
