GBP/USD Trend continuation?

Posted on October 16, 2009 at 2:32 in Uncategorized by César B. Leiceaga

Watch out for the bounce on 1,6240 - 60 area (23,60 % Fib level from the whole move 1,5703 - 1,6403).

If the uptrend continues, that particular area is were the 30 SMA, the main bullish trendline formed and Fib support level converge on the 1 hour chart.

    DEAR CESAR

I agree with you about GBP uptrend continuetion after first trendline break at 1.6 and confirme break 6120.it,s obvious the second target is downtrendline at 6465.

on which timeframe do you use sma30 and how much is validate by your experience?. I usually use sma20/ema55,100 plus bollingerband for identify S/R and trend.

    Dear A-Soltani,
30SMA is very useful on 1 & 4 charts. Specially on those, I simply use moving averages as references for S&R areas.
Making higher lows right now… we could possibly test 1,62 zone. I hope so… thats my target!

    Regards.
