Very fast 40 pips at the Frankfurt opening

Posted on April 17, 2009 at 2:31 in Market comments by David Aranzabal

Today we got a very fast reaction (unexpectedly for myself) on Cable. Let’s review the trade:
- 60m MACD under the water line.
- Triple top in 1m before Franfurt open.
-Clear breakout after touching support and retracement. (Entry, no second chance today). Stop above previous swing high.
- Price goes down very fast, extreme oversold at 1,4800 (Double cero). Approaching 61.8 Fib Ret. 60m.  Time to close position. I let a tiny position (1/5) running, just in case the move keeps surfing.

may i know which broker u use to trade? Most brokers are out there to cheat customer’s money. Just wondering what brokers u use to stay safe.

    Hi Shaun,

Yesterday we got an amazing move in Cable, just from the very beginning of the European Opening. Unfortunately yesterday I was not in the screen at that moment because of my schedule at FxForaliving but the entry was very clear. I may review the session as educational proposal because it deserves an article.

About the brokers, we can’t recommend brokers on this blog but you can find lots of information at http://www.fxstreet.com/brokers/

    Hi cletus,

Trading forex is nice because you can start from a 300$ account. In other financial markets it’s not possible.

Just remember not to overtade and choose the right lot size for not risking more than 1% of your account on every trade.
You’ll see more information about money management techniques in my FxStreet collaboration.
